Church life brings its own increased heat, between Vacation Bible School, camps, float trips, and filling in all the gaps for those beautiful volunteers who are traveling abroad or at the lake every weekend. And, if we aren't careful, everybody is finding some way to recharge...except you.

This isn't supposed to be a bucket list of must-experience-tourist-traps. And it's not designed to create more fall-short goals that will heap up the guilt points if you don't fulfill them. No, this summer lifestyle playlist should be made up of some ideals, personal preferences, a "I just want to start over" kind of mindset.

Myth #10: I can't foster friendships with people in our church.

Myth #9: If the church pays us, we are completely at their disposal.
