This Summer @Sanctuary!

Everybody talks about the "lazy days of summer", but they haven't been quoting ministry wives, for sure! The summer often involves all your typical ministerial obligations while filling in all the gaps for traveling congregants, families "taking the summer off" from church, Vacation Bible School, summer camps for kids + teenagers, and trying to carve out time to soak up the sun and find some rest for your own family in the middle of it all.

Don't fret, friends--we just want to pump fresh life into you as you continue to faithfully serve so well. Throughout the summer months, there are a few ways you can benefit from Sanctuary's support, and here's a sprinkling of highlights for you to consider:

Let's Connect events are casual lunch, brunch, or dinner gatherings designed for interaction, laughs, fun, and connection with ministry wives who live and serve near you, once per quarter. There's no service schedule, no class to teach, no volunteers to coordinate--just you and other ministry wives who get together for dinner, some great conversation, and maybe some dessert, just to sweeten the deal.

Join all the Sanctuary Special Needs' Mommas for our second virtual Let's Connect of 2026, July 18, 10am CST! Featured guest + attorney Monica Maple will provide from her wealth of knowledge and expertise by providing an overview of important legal and financial planning tools available for individuals with disabilities and their families.

While Sanctuary provides support for ministry wives, this virtual event will be open to all Special Needs' Mommas! Please feel free to share the Zoom details with special needs' moms you know and love.

Sanctuary's Let's Connect | Widows welcomes Women's Ministries Specialist Donna Coffey to share from her own personal journey and trusted expertise on how to navigate through the various special occasions, vacation plans, etc once shared with your treasured spouse. They can be fun again, even if experienced from a different station of life. Let's talk about the holidays on July 25 at 10am CST.

Encourage a ministry wife you care about who has lost her spouse to find comfort, care, and encouragement through this virtual community.
