10 Years of Let's Retreat!

Sanctuary launched with its first Let's Retreat in February 2015, its guests personally invited by host and Sanctuary founder Bridgette Tomlin. What God did there launched what has now become 10 years of "redefining Sanctuary" for ministry wives across the nation and around the world. In November 2025, Sanctuary hosted its 10th annual Let's Retreat,  designed for women who are married & in full-time ministry with their husbands. Each multi-night retreat features sessions of teaching, prayer, & relationship building, as well as time for pampering, rest, & relaxation. The event's reduced rate makes this oasis affordable to each invited guest.

As Sanctuary closes this chapter with its beloved venue of Gathering Oaks Retreat (Crawford, Texas) to follow God's leading toward a new event format in September 2026, we pause to give glory to God for all He has begun and what He intends to do just ahead. Let's Retreat guests have relished in the concierge treatment over these past 10 years and have discovered, "Sanctuary is what I never knew I needed." The road ahead will undoubtedly prove these sentiments to remain true at each new stop on Sanctuary's journey.
