Beginnings.

A new year isn’t a new beginning just because the hands on the clock pass from 11:59pm to 12:00am. A new beginning doesn’t surface because an individual looks with regret over the past 365 days and wishes things had been different. And beginnings aren’t birthed from resolutions made out of guilty consciences. 

Beginnings belong to God. He is the Beginning. He is the Author of fresh-laid plans. Plans that will succeed. Beginnings that will evolve and grow, perhaps slowly, but surely.
